Vegas Pics & Attack of the Cottongims

I am a little disorganized with my blogging lately. I apologize. I feel like I have let you down. Lot's going on, which you will see....

Below are some actual PG rated Vegas photos and tonight I will update you all on LAST WEEKS American Idol Dinner / Party at the Howell house.

The Scott and Clark are in town and let me tell you, Park County knows it! Just walked downtown to eat a "quick lunch" and it took about 20 minutes just to walk back . . . town is NOT that big!

My father has been himself- freakishly wonderfully outgoing and chatty to anyone who makes eye contact with him. Clark has been showing off his handy cabinet making skills by showing us pictures of their latest jobs (he works with my dad at Woodstock Cabinet Co. in Tulsa), and Peter walks around in a 1/2 daze, completely overwhelmed by the massive ability of the Cottongim's to talk non-stop, over each other, about 6 different things at the same time - and loud. We really act like a big Italian Catholic family - but we are sadly neither. Who new Presbyterians could be so charismatic. We are really quite a spectacle, maybe I can video a conversation (or 6)?

Weekend agenda for those that want to follow our every move like paparazzi: antelope dinner and sauna baths at the Kinsey's tonight, to head to The Owl for Jerry Joseph apre dinner (might be a bit sweaty from the sauna). Skiing at Bridger Bowl on Friday (where Clark, Peter and Brooke will do some ridge hikes and Scott will make new friends at the Bar over Irish Coffees), Rib and Chop House for a buttery steak dinner Friday night, Saturday is still up in the air - I would like to fish if the weather is above 40, then grilling at our place (this will be a chill day I hope). Sunday we will hopefully cross country ski or do Bridger again, with dinner at Sir Scott's Oasis (dad loves it b/c of the name, I love it b/c you can get a prime rib the size of your face)... There will surely be more... we will see!

While dad is here, we are encouraging him to get his wood floors refinished (or at least arrange for someone to do it soon), pick a paint color for the house, and maybe hang a few more of those pics that are leaning against the walls. For those of you familiar with Scotty, this is HARD work!

Looking sassy in the Bellagio - approximately 1:00am after a 2 hour drive to Billings, 2 hour flight, lots of plane cocktails, etc., finding the hotel, back to the strip --- ta da!

We love Blackjack. We love Jeanette's pretty veil with fake flowers. We love Corona.

We also love the men from Thunder from Down Under - great show.
Highly recommended. Wear ear plugs.

We were having WAY too much fun before we even got on the plane!
Jeanette, Kristen, Heather, Terri Jo, Brooke

$24 Lobster tacos -- I guess the building and the boobs are the only things bigger in Vegas.

The Bellagio fountain thing... so fun to watch... they were playing a song from "chicago" during this particular one.

The high-rollers.... I think we were betting up to $15 at a time!!!!!!

Looks like tons of fun....Kris will be highly envious of Sir Scott's though. He stills talks of going to Bozeman just to eat there. :)
