Blast to the Past - An Ode to Hair and Sunny Weather

This time of year makes us long for beaches, warm sand, SUN, anything that says warm.

Here's a look back to Pete's first trip to the Bahamas in 2001 ---


Look at that young chap with his bone fish - tanned, smiling, oh so young, and SO MUCH MORE HAIR!

Speaking of hair and friends on the beaches-- GOTCHA Ron and Linda --- now, was that an Ogilvy Home Perm and Merona track suit you are wearing? Ron, I think you and Pete both had significantly more on top in the 90's. :)

This "Miss Texas" (as we were told to refer to him/her) is taken ....

Frighteningly, this was a REGULAR occurrence in my home growing up. I never knew that dressing in drag, or in mismatched clothing with wigs and props wasn't normal - until I started showing these pictures to my husband who is now scared our little girl might get her Uncle Clark's dress-up passion.

Ahhh, the imagination of charismatic child! Here's to you little brother - this is one of the many reasons I love ya.

I am starting a new series of posts -- as you can see from the title, we will be blasting to the past and hopefully laughing a bit, making fun of ourselves, and saying, "ahhhh... "
