Matine Models a Sweater

This is Matine, modeling her gorgeous handmade sweater, bonnet and booties that our friend Sherry Wright made for her. I knew I had to get some good pics of her in it before our chubby baby outgrew the ensemble.

Matine John Howell

Well, she is HERE! I have a TON of pictures to get uploaded and sorted before I can do a "proper" blog post, but I know there are many anxious folks out there dying to get a peak at Matine.

These are some beautiful pics taken by our friends Meggan and Tony last night when they visited us. So, take a look at these for a few more hours before I can get some of ours up and out!

Matine is absolutely an angel. She was born on Monday, May 11th at 1:51 am. She was 7 lbs 2 oz and 19 in long! She is amazingly content, sweet and has been such an easy baby so far.

She is eating great, sleeping great, and melting our hearts with every little grunt or movement.

We got home from the hospital this morning. She was greeted by her three brothers with open paws. Surprisingly, BRUTUS (the old grumpy man) will not let her out of his site and is sleeping next to her bed, or next to me, or following Pete around (wherever Matine goes, so shall Brutus apparently)!

She has already met MANY of our amazing friends and we are thrilled to be home with her... Here it all begins!

Shutter Happy, Apparently

Well, pardon the interuption in pictures on the blog folks! Apparently Peter and I have taken and stored too many pictures on the blog and our Picasa Web Albums and I had to upgrade our storage in order to show any more pics. We like to take pictures OK!

So, the post below, with the the belly, I really did remember to upload the pics, they just wouldn't load. I will fix that soon.

I figure we might possibly take a picture or two of our new bundle of joy, so I should get that problem fixed pronto! We took 5 pictures last night of Oliver sleeping with his legs up in the air. I don't dare imagine what we are going to do with a human child!

Thanks goodness digital cameras have been invented!

Visit from MOM!

I was just informed that my mom will be coming for a visit during my birthday week in April! I am so excited and we are long overdue for some mother - daughter visiting.
I am taking this bow with me to Vegas and I think I will request this haircut at my next appointment.
