Do you remember at Summer Camp when the Camp Director would stand on a table in the big breakfast room or yell into a bullhorn "Announcements, Announcements, Annoooouunncments..." and then everyone would bang their tin bowls and hands on the table?
Well, I do and that is what I will do for you now:
1) I start my new job at Angler's West in 19 days
2) Oliver gets neutered in 15
3) I miss Micca
4) Peter is anxious about our ski trip this weekend (it's cute, he always gets nervous before trips)
5) My mother will be here in 29 days
6) We bought a 1993 Dodge Ram dually, white Pick-Up truck with 119,000 miles (for the biz, to pull a horse trailer full of 12 horses)
7) Peter will drive down with Shawn to Denver Monday morning to pick it up
8) And turn around and drive back in the same day
9) We are going to Pine Creek tonight to listen to music
10) I need to get our cruiser bikes tuned up for spring
11) It snowed a few inches again last night, over freezing rain- roads are slick
12) Gas in Livingston is $3.19 /gal.
13) Peter attended an outfitters conference / meeting yesterday - they discussed grizzly bear issues (there are LOTS of them) and the ridiculously high price of outfitter tags for out of state hunters
14) the Northern Rocky Mountain gray Wolf is now de-listed from the list of Endangered Species . . . Interesting topic around here... Google it
15) I have been waking each morning and doing crunches and push-ups (as per my ripped brother's suggestion)
16) I need a haircut - I look like a cave person
17) Peter and I got some new bath towels as a wedding present from Tim and Yvonne and they are luscious!
18) I have 2 zits on my face, one on each cheek - awesome.
19) As usual, Peter has non - has never had a zit (seriously) - awesome.

Sadly, I was too scared to go to summer camp! I enjoyed my parents too much.
i need to dig out all my summer camp pics and do a blog series... boy do I have stories!
hi! how much are 1993 Dodge Ram duallys going for these days?
pretty cheap actually.. peter jumped at the deal... about $8k. We will only be driving it in the fall, but i think the dogs will look pretty sweet in the back of it!
i definitely need to wear overalls and chew straw when i drive it.
Have fun on your trip! My worst worst worst fear is to come face to face with a Grizzly (or any bear for that matter). It didn't help that during college when I didn't want to go out and party I would stay at home while reading "Mark of the Grizzly" , all the while terrifying myself even more by the thought of what would happen if I surprised one in the woods. Keep us updated on any animal sightings you have! I can be scared for you...
i love this list...and i love summer camp!
