mom is doing much better, but still can't bear any weight on her foot. she has a new cast - "the boot" so it is not a hard one and she can take it off at night. hopefully she will be able to drive in a couple of weeks. THEN, they have to do teh same thing to the other foot and the torture begins all over again... BUT, once it is all over, she will have her functioning feet back and life will be much better! she has the best attitude about it so far... I am impressed.
