Bottle Training

This is as close as she will get to the bottle. I try to make it look like a non threatening "toy" in an attempt to fool her into entertaining the idea of mowing down on it.
I think SHE just wants to drink through osmosis and stick to the boob.
(Yes my child is in a neglect-o-saucer)

Emmy wouldn't touch a bottle from 3 months to 9 months. Good luck! I feel your pain girl...

I never breastfed Riley, but I do know he would not TOUCH a playtex nipple for the life of him! She'll do it in her own time, I promise. My sister in law breastfed her son until 18 months and then had no problem going to his bottle after that. Don't worry, I know I spent way to many nights worried about when/how he would transition to everything. You are a GREAT mom and she (and we all) know it!

I totally know how you feel...breastfeeding is so wonderful...there just comes that time when you need them to take a bottle...just ONCE so you can go out to dinner, or run errands, or take a nap, whatever! Ben breastfed until he was 15 months and never took a bottle once. not once. when i did leave him, he would just boycott eating all together. it made leaving him not too much fun. :)
