Petey has the camera (he would make that gagging face and roll his eyes if he saw knew I wrote Petey on the blog). So, what we have been doing? And what will you see in the coming days?
First, I will get my head out of my new book The Outlander by Gil Adamson and blog Matt and Jeannette's wedding.
Then you would see that Pete's buddy Jim Wofford "The Rev" - our dear friend who married us in October is in town. They are FISHING on the Missouri and out of touch and having fun.
I (and thousands of others) am attending the first of 3 nights of the famous Livingston Round-Up Rodeo tonight with Levia, Christina, Dennis, hopefully Madeleine. But not before joining Jacqueline and Sarah at the Livingston Farmer's Market. After the rodeo I will race home to watch the fireworks from our house... best seat in town.
Then, tomorrow I work and I meet Pete and Jim in Bozeman for the Shawn Colvin Concert at the Emerson. Staying the night at The Howell's house and prep for the ginormous 4th of July shindig at their place.
The Lustig cousins are in town with their new and old wives, the Waters girls are coming, our new friends Kent and Dawn from Orange County, and many many friends and neighbors I am sure.
The young dogs - Oli and Gaucho stayed at the Howell's for couple of days. They just met their new doggie cousins and they are having fun running around. Brutus is keeping me company in the shop and at home while Pete and Woff play with fish.
Much to see and hear about. Stay tuned.
Weather is beautiful here. 80's and sunny - today there is some cloud cover and a slight breeze. Waters are still VERY high on the Yellowstone, but I am loving this summer already!
