House For Sale!

Dear First Home on East Lewis,

It makes me smile and cry to think of all we have been through together. If only those walls could talk - they would tell many tales of friendship, love, heartbreak, parties, happy dogs, lazy porch sitting, chatting with neighbors, celebrations and mourning. You literally housed me through the greatest growth and change of my life. Gave me independence and freedom. Solidified Montana as my home.

Ah, you are a good house. Your windows were like your smile... Always open and bright and welcoming... I could have sat on that porch all day long - watching the neighbors pass, watching our pretty Livingston sunsets.

I remember leaving you to move in with Peter. Oh how sad I was, but ready to start my life with another Love. But, you took care of other families and couples that have lived in you since I left. Housed their joy, babies, families, good times, bad times.

The time has come (so my "advisors" tell me). My life is getting bigger, more complicated and passing you on to another person is a good idea for Pete and I now.

I want the perfect person to buy you - for a fair and reasonable price of course.
Sponsored Announcement: You are in excellent condition, have been taken care of, have wonderfully spacious 3 bedrooms and the double sinked large bathroom makes you very appealing. Your newly finished hardwood floors are amazing! Thanks for being such a great investment (i.e. this place can be rented for $895/mo in Livingston) for me these last 5 years . . .
Au revoir mi casa. Please look cute and sell fast! I will love you forever and miss you terribly!

XOXOXOX -- Brooke

Remember when Tele used to actually swing on the porch swing and busted out your front windows. And when they would use the whiskey barrels as beds, and lay on top of cars. And then there was your poor neighbor who witnessed us coming home from the rib and chop when it was negative 50 and we had enjoyed our evening a little too much?

Ah, the memories...of our week of Sex in the City, late night pizza and walks through Livingston. One of the greatest weeks (and most relaxing) ever! In fact, it was in that house I knew I had found true love...Wade and I had been dating over two months and it was the first/longest we'd been apart. You took me shopping to celebrate what was to come...

I miss you! Are you available for a phone date this weekend?
