The Big 28 . . .

I turned 28 years old. For many that sounds old, for many that sounds "way too young." I happen to think my age is perfect and I can't wait for my 28th year of life. So far, each year has been better and better each passing year. New friends, great memories, new accomplishments, job changes, great stories, healthy family, GREAT life. I am going to LOVE 28!

Here are a few of the people and memories that kicked off my 28th year!
Peter showing Brad and Caid the technique for party poppers.

Abby and Libby Kinsey... both darling as ever. Playing with the poppers that left hundreds of teeny tiny paper string in our yard.

Early in the party the kids were running wild, having fun with party poppers, playing croquet, trucks and eventually - nudie bathing in our hot tub. You know a party is good when the clothese start coming off.

This was our "annual spring party." It happens to always fall on my birthday and this year it was a "pray for spring party." It worked. THe day of the party was beautiful - no snow, it topped 60 degrees, and we all sported some festive wares and ate fruit. This is later in the evening when we got the chiminea started to warm us up a bit. As usual, the million dogs partied much harder than their human counterparts and had a great ime.

My little Oliver.... Always loving and licking something!

Beautiful days at the river with mom . . . and the boys of course.

Peter's friends and clients, Carl and JP, at Pine Creek Lodge for dinner and to listen to the salsa band, Poco Loco!

Carl and JP have a beautiful home / lodge right on Mill Creek . They invited us up to the house for blueberry pancakes, coffee, and some great deck-sitting on Sunday Morning.

This is the Rainbow Bend Lodge (JP and Carl's place) . . . All around it are old Crow Teepee rings... You can still see the original sights that the natives lived, right their on the creek. From the top deck we sat and looked for the big horns and elk that are often seen each morning.

Other great things that my mom and I did - "take your mother to work day" - where my mom organized the stock room at the Fly Shop. If you know my mother, you understand that this is a DREAM for her. She loves to organize and clean things.... She did a great job and the stock room has never been more organized in it's history.
We worked in my yard, discussed possible shrubery and garden plans. We had many great lunches and dinners and also enjoyed a nice birthday day / dinner at the Howell house. We did a little shopping, I got my hair cut and highlighted in Bozeman. We did lots of playing with the dogs at the park and river. We enjoyed the nice weather and generally relaxed.
Mom had little presents for me to open practically every morning and night she was here. Spoiling me as usual.
It was a great weekend! Thanks for coming to visit mom!
