Happy Birthday Jane!
My mother's best friend, Jane Taylor has a birthday today. Jane is one of those rare creatures that can light up any room, make anyone smile, and always have something good to say about anything. Jane is the epitome of sincere and she means what she says - and it's always nice.
Now in our family, Jane has always been "cooky" in the best sense of the word. You have to "experience" Jane, not just meet her or talk about her. When we were kids, going to Jane's house was like going to Disney Land - she is insanely creative so a ceiling painted with clouds or a collection of baby doll heads as a table centerpiece is completely normal and fitting. She has incredible style and energy. When Jane is around you just smile and go with it... An adventure, something out of the ordinary seems to follow Jane everywhere.
Her kids love her, her husband adores her, her friends couldn't live without her (I can attest b/c she is the BEST friend to my mom, which I am forever grateful to her for). I am thrilled that the Taylor's moved back to Tulsa so we all get to "experience" her more!
Her daughter Megan (many of you read her fun blog) made a fun tribute to Janie Taylor on her birthday ... Check it out. Here's to you JANE!
